While it is vitally important to maintain a healthy layer of protective oils on the skin, courtesy of Sweet Bee Magic of course, we at the Apothecary also recognize that eating the right foods can have a profound effect on your outward appearance.  So while you're bundled up during this blustery winter weather, in honor of National Oatmeal Month, you may want to enjoy a warm, nourishing bowl of oatmeal. 

~Pomegranate and Seeds Oatmeal~

1c. Water

1/2c. Organic Whole Oats

In a small pot, boil together for about 5 minutes.  Pour into a bowl and add a spoonful of Organic Local Honey.  Sprinkle a large handful of Organic Pomegranate Seeds and 1Tbs. Organic Sunflower Seeds, 1tsp. Organic Chia Seeds, 1 tsp. Organic Flax Seeds.  Pour your preferred choice of "Milk" (dairy, coconut, almond, rice...) over top and enjoy with a warm cup of tea.
