A Sweet Treat For Beautiful Skin

Wrinkles, fine lines, acne, rosacea, rough textured bumpy skin, you name it, we're all dealing with one or more of these very inconvenient issues.  It’s an occupational hazard of having skin.  But instead of being a walking muscle group we are blessed with having this gorgeous multi-functional, outer covering.  The dermis is a splendid thing, in fact, it's the largest organ of our body and is responsible for many processes, including eliminating toxins.

Well, wait a minute… Toxins?

Toxins are the culprits of many of our skin problems and when it comes to acne, the proliferation of Propionibacterium, (the street name being P-Bacteria, (sounds pretty hip hop) ) is the main cause of grades 1-3 acne. Proper exfoliation and cleansing of the skin can regulate the growth and buildup of yucky bacteria beneath the skin's surface.

When it comes to wrinkles and fine lines… (my forehead is wrinkling even now just thinking about how much money I’ve spent on trying to seduce these two into submission).  I’ve tried everything under the sun, every cream, serum andHoney Facial Scrub even some exotic snail and caviar concoctions.  I’ve even tried botox, and lord help me, I had bruises and a headache for two weeks but again, the answer is EXFOLIATION!

Medicine Mama's organic Honey Facial Scrub is the answer!

Since you’re most likely moisturizing daily, it’s therefore natural to exfoliate your skin daily as part of the same process, either in the morning or before bed.  As the Honey Facial Scrub clears away the dead skin, it also stimulates circulation and blood flow throughout the face, making skin look tighter and more youthful and improving the appearance of tissue beneath the skin's surface. It is especially effective in clearing away acne scars.  The circular scrubbing motion we recommend will also make skin more elastic helping clear away scar tissue. Exfoliation removes dead skin cells at the deepest level of the dermis, not only eliminating pore-clogging dead skin cells but stimulating circulation and lymphatic drainage.  It's very effective at opening up the pores on your skin, making it smoother and healthier.  Your skin will be better prepared to absorb moisturizers such as our Sweet Bee Magic.

I had myself been using honey facial scrub for the purpose of minimizing pores while I was in Florida since my mother used to prepare it herself. Coming to New York the dependency on packaged products has grown.
